LAbor day 2014- 8:34am
A cool and misty morning...
Account by Sam Russell-
I woke up at around 8:30am to the sound of my phone going off. The now Ex-TBA member, Alec Tucker, was trying to get ahold of me. Turns out the power had gone out, and my alarm clock was out for the count, so I hadn't gotten up at 6:30 like I was supposed to. The plan was to meet with the rest of the team, as we had a plan made for that day. However, it was far too late for that.
Alec arrived at my house at about 9:15am with his guns and supplies. We got everything set up and decided to go out scouting.
We arrived at the DA's compound at 10:24am. We watched a DA member by the name of Connor as he stood in the backyard of the place. We decided to cut our losses and yell to him.
"GET SKYLAR AND GET A GUN"
He ran off and came back outside a few minutes later. We were confused and didn't realize that Skylar was inside calling for backup. We decided to try to shoot at Connor. I had my new M4A1 on me, which had ranged sights. I was probably 70 yards away, and this is one of my proudest moments ive had in the entire war.
I took aim, and fired. Alec and I watched as the small white pellet soared at Connor's head. And then, like magic, he suddenly dropped to his knees and grabbed his face. I had hit him RIGHT IN THE NOSE!!!!
Anyway-
Renforcements started to arrive from the DA, and they all holed up in their house. The first shots were fired at 12:59pm. We called in Jessica and Adrian, and Tyler showed up soon after. We had five people against eight, and unfourtunately for the DA, we still were quickly overpowering them. They couldn't even step out of their own compound without getting shot so many times they screamed in agony. They were stuck in their compound, in a situation much like we were in the Battle of Back Door's Pain. They would pop outside and shoot out the doors every once in a while. They ran out of ammo and supplies after about two hours, and with the blockade we had set up around their neighborhood, nobody could get in to give them anything, and nobody could get out to get anything. They surrendered at 3:02pm.
